What is in the backup policy template?

The template covers the systems included, roles, frequency and retention, storage on a system separate from production, the copy that should be kept fully offline or physically isolated, encryption, access to backups, the yearly restore test, and review with management sign-off. It is an informative model, to be adapted to your company.

What is in the restore-test record?

The record notes the test date, the systems and data tested, the backup set and copy location, the restore time against the recovery target, the result, problems and actions, the evidence attached, and signatures, including management's. It is the written proof for control PR.DS-11.2, which you can show at an inspection.

Can I use the templates as they are?

They are informative models, not legal advice. Adapt them to your company: systems, roles and deadlines differ from one company to another.

What format are they in?

DOCX, for editing, and PDF, in Romanian and English. Each file carries a version and a date.

How long can I download?

The unlock lasts 30 days on the browser you used. The links work while the unlock is valid.

Does the template recommend a provider?

No. For the offline copy it lists neutral options: your own media, tape or an external vault. AirVault appears once, as a labelled example.
